Andrea Ponsor is the President and CEO of Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF) since November 2016, where responsibilities include serving as the lead policy adviser for a collaborative of thirteen nonprofit affordable housing development organizations. Ponsor has extensive experience in federal policy, having previously held the position of Federal Policy Director at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) from 2015 to 2016, focusing on housing and rural development policy agendas. Earlier career highlights include serving as Principal and Affordable Housing Attorney at Hessel Aluise and Neun, P.C. (2007-2014), and as a Management Analyst in the United States Air Force (2006-2007). Ponsor began professional legal work as an Attorney at HUD from 2002 to 2006. Ponsor holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Tulane University.
