Scot MacIver is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in civil engineering, design, and technology integration. Currently serving as a CAD & Technology Manager and Mobility Designer at Stewart since May 2018, Scot contributes to greenway projects and has designed Charlotte’s first separated cycle track. As the founder of 919 Design since January 2010, Scot showcases entrepreneurial skills alongside a solid background in virtual design and construction from their previous role at Clayco, where Scot explored VR/AR technologies to enhance sustainability in the construction sector. Scot also has experience as a graduate researcher at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where Scot analyzed urban infrastructures, as well as varied hands-on roles, such as exhibit engineering at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and woodworking leadership at Westin Mitchell Design Group. Scot holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
