Michael Skødt

Michael Skupien is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader with a strong background in engineering and artificial intelligence. As the Founder of Bloomry since April 2023, Michael focuses on addressing behavioral and mental health challenges faced by children, parents, and educators. Previously, as Engineering Lead at Knockri, Michael managed a cross-functional team to enhance hiring processes for over 100,000 candidates. Michael's expertise in machine learning was showcased through the lead development of a patented assessment scoring pipeline that mitigated bias in hiring. Early career experiences include prominent roles at Uber, Waterloo Formula Electric, Embark Trucks, and Varden Labs, where Michael contributed to the advancement of self-driving technologies and systems. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering with an AI Option from the University of Waterloo.
