Kim Blom

Kim Blom is currently serving as a member of the supervisory board at De Zorggroep, where Kim holds the position of chair of the quality and safety committee. With extensive experience in geriatric medicine, Kim has worked as a specialist in elderly care at Stichting De Waalboog since March 2022 and previously coordinated projects related to extramural practice development for specialists in elderly care at the Universitair Kennisnetwerk Ouderenzorg Nijmegen from January 2022 to July 2023. Kim's background includes a PhD focusing on the impact of vascular risk factors on brain damage and cognition, conducted at UMC Utrecht's Julius Center. Educational achievements include a PhD in Medicine and specialist training in elderly care from Utrecht University and Radboud University, along with undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Psychobiology from the University of Amsterdam.
