Arun Saggar

Arun Saggar is an experienced educator currently serving as a Docent Maatschappijleer at OVO Zaanstad since August 2022. Prior to this role, Arun worked at Praktijkschool De Brug as a Docent Burgerschap, where responsibilities included independently teaching Citizenship lessons for grades 1 to 4 from September 2021 to August 2022. Arun's earlier experience includes working as bar personnel at Cafe de Fabriek from July 2018 to August 2021. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Teaching Society (tweedegraads) from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (2018-2022), a Premaster in Sociology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (August 2022 - June 2023), and currently pursuing an Educatieve Master in Teaching Preparatory Higher Education in Society and Social Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (September 2023 - July 2025). Training began at Bertrand Russel College and continued at ROC Zaandam.
