Mats Höggren

Mats Hoggren has worked in various leadership roles in the wildlife conservation field. Mats started their career as a Researcher/Director of Studies at the Swedish Biodiversity Centre from 1996 to 2003. Mats then moved on to Kolmarden Wildlife Park, where they served as the Zoological Director from 2004 to 2015. Currently, Mats Hoggren is the Director/CEO of Nordens Ark, a position they have held since 2015.

Mats Hoggren obtained a PhD in Genetics from Uppsala University.
