Therese Chakour-West

Therese Chakour-West, MBus, is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Chief Information Officer for STIHL Australia since July 2023, where responsibilities include leading the technology function, developing strategy, and overseeing data governance and cyber security. Previously, Therese held the position of Chief Information Officer at Bunzl Australasia and led the IT department at STIHL Australia from 2006 to 2021. Additional roles include serving on the Course Advisory Committee at Lyons College, volunteering as an Account Manager for Go Girl, Go for IT, and mentoring within the VIC ICT for Women program. Therese's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Information Management from the University of Melbourne and advanced degrees from Victoria University in Training and Change Management and Management Training and Development.
