Christoph Wist

Christoph Wist has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in the manufacturing and logistics industry. Christoph has worked at companies such as STIHL, Eberspächer Group, Robert Bosch GmbH, thyssenkrupp, and Schneider-Kreuznach.

At STIHL, Wist served as the VP of Production and Procurement Logistics Group, overseeing production program planning, procurement logistics, and production logistics. Christoph was responsible for ensuring reliable and economical component and final product availability for global market supply. Christoph managed a team of 270 permanent employees and 10 representatives from global production sites.

At Eberspächer Group, Wist held the position of Director of Operations/Plant Manager at the Production Plant Esslingen. Christoph was responsible for production, logistics, maintenance, process planning, and equipment construction. Their focus was on work safety, quality, delivery reliability, and costs. Christoph managed a team of 250 permanent employees and up to 70 temporary employees.

At Robert Bosch GmbH, Wist served as the Head of International Manufacturing Coordination for ABS/ESP Braking Systems. Christoph was responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating the global production and footprint strategy for these brake systems. Christoph also benchmarked global plants and coordinated the international Continuous Improvement Process (CIP). Additionally, they managed investments, supply chain optimizations, and the ramp-up, ramp-down, and relocation of products across the global production network.

At thyssenkrupp, Wist was the Director of Manufacturing at the Neuhausen a.d.F. location, overseeing the production of mechanic assemblies for elevator systems. Christoph focused on work safety, quality, delivery reliability, and cost efficiency. Christoph managed a team of 240 permanent employees and up to 40 temporary employees.

At Schneider-Kreuznach, Wist served as the Head of Production and Procurement Logistics. Christoph was responsible for production control, scheduling, warehouse logistics, and later, equipment and prototype production. Their main objectives were to improve delivery reliability, material availability, and inventory management. Christoph managed a team of 13 employees initially, which later increased to 34.

At the beginning of their career, Wist worked at STIHL as a Project Manager, later advancing to Senior Project Manager. Christoph focused on production technology planning, ramp-up, and production network strategy planning. Christoph was involved in sheet metal processing, machining, and various manufacturing processes.

Overall, Wist has a strong background in production, logistics, and operations management, with extensive experience in international coordination, supply chain optimization, and team leadership.

Christoph Wist attended the SGMI Management Institut St. Gallen in 2024, where they studied General Management. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2001, they pursued a degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering) at Universität Karlsruhe (TH), graduating with a Dipl.-Ing. degree.
