Claudia L. has a diverse work experience in various research and engineering roles. Claudia is currently working as a Junior Product Manager at Stilla Technologies since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Industrialization Engineer at the same company from February 2021 to December 2022.
Before joining Stilla Technologies, Claudia worked as a Researcher on Tissue Engineering at 3B´s Research Group from September 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they synthesized and characterized polycaprolactone electrospun fibers for tendon regeneration and designed 3D printed removable fiber holders for culture with human tendon-derived cells. Claudia also designed and manufactured a PDMS microfluidic chip for the study of tendon physiopathology.
In 2019, Claudia also worked as a Researcher at the Laboratory for Vascular Translational Science (LVTS) at INSERM from February 2019 to June 2019. Here, they synthesized and characterized hydrogels as a biohybrid scaffold material for tissue engineering. Claudia also performed collagen coatings and seeding of cells on hydrogel samples, as well as decellularizing the naturally deposed extracellular matrix for further use with HUVEC cells.
Claudia's experience at CNRS in 2018 involved working as a Researcher at the Institut des Sciences Moléculaires d'Orsay (ISMO). Their responsibilities included characterizing fluorescent nanoparticles and studying their interaction with Streptococcus aureus bacteria.
During their time at the University of Dayton from 2014 to 2017, Claudia had multiple roles. As a Student Researcher with the Solar Thermal Adsorptive Refrigerator (STAR) Team from January 2016 to May 2017, they designed a non-electric refrigerating system using an adsorptive working pair of ethanol and activated carbon. Claudia also collaborated with the team to optimize the system and developed a business model for a market-ready solar refrigerator. Additionally, they worked as a Mathematics, Spanish, and French Tutor from October 2014 to May 2017, mentoring students in those subjects. Claudia also served as an Engineering Intern (ETHOS Program) - Solar Alternatives and Associated Programmes (SAAP) from May 2016 to July 2016, where they designed and constructed a solar thermal adsorptive refrigerator and engaged with the community to understand their needs. Throughout this internship, Claudia gained knowledge in solar energies, materials and corrosion, and distillation processes.
Claudia L. completed their education in a chronological order. Claudia obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton from 2013 to 2017. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree (M1) in Biomedical Engineering at Université Paris Cité from 2017 to 2018. Claudia then continued their studies at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, where they completed a Master's degree (M2) in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on the Biomaterials Track from 2018 to 2019.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Claudia has obtained several certifications. Claudia became Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in September 2020. Before that, they completed certifications in Azure Fundamentals: Network Components, Azure Fundamentals: Virtual Machines, and Azure Fundamentals: Storage Components from Skillsoft in 2020.
