Jason Beckstrom

Jason Beckström is a Value-add Acquisitions Partner at Stillwater Capital. With over 18 years of experience in both the commercial and residential real estate industries, he oversees the multifamily value-add acquisitions activities for the company. His key responsibilities include sourcing, underwriting, evaluating, and procuring multifamily value-add investment opportunities across the Texas markets.

Prior to joining Stillwater, Jason served as Senior Director of Acquisitions for Los Angeles-based Tides Equities. In this role he spearheaded Tides’ successful expansion into the Texas market, acquiring more than $2.3 billion of core+ and value-add assets over a two-year period. Jason’s primary responsibilities included sourcing, underwriting, evaluating, and executing the company’s multifamily acquisitions strategy across the Texas, Inland Empire, Arizona, and Las Vegas markets.

Jason brings a dynamic commercial real estate skillset to Stillwater that includes experience in real estate finance and investment, office leasing, negotiation, real estate sales, and construction management. His previous work also includes positions at both public and private organizations, such as Jones Lang LaSalle, PulteGroup, Dallas-based Westmount Realty Capital, and Chicago-based private equity Free Market Ventures.
