Rich Comber

Rich Comber has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as a Senior Software Engineer at Stitch, where they started in February 2022. Prior to that, they founded their own company called Salo Creative in 2018, where they served as a Software Engineer and Founder until February 2022. In this role, they focused on designing and delivering customized software solutions to address business challenges and managed ongoing projects.

From December 2018 to February 2019, Rich worked as a Lead Front End Engineer at Unity, specifically within the Multiplay division. Here, they led the Front end team in developing a new enterprise-grade portal for managing cloud and Hybrid solution infrastructure.

Before Unity, Rich was a Senior Software Engineer at LUSH Digital from January 2017 to November 2018. Rich primarily worked on React applications to support LUSH's global operations, including areas such as till and cash management, stock checks and ordering, staff management, website content management, and business insights and reporting.

Prior to their roles in software engineering, Rich worked at Freshleaf Media as an Account Director from January 2016 to January 2017 and as a Web Developer from January 2015 to January 2016. Rich also worked as a Web Developer and Designer from August 2012 to December 2014.

Earlier in their career, Rich had a role as a Digital Account Executive at Positive for the first seven months of 2012. Rich also gained experience as a Watersports Instructor at Datchet Watersports from May 2005 to May 2011.

Rich Comber attended Hampton School, where they completed their A Levels and achieved 10 GCSEs, including subjects such as Maths, Physics, Business Studies, and Design Technology. Following their time at Hampton School, they enrolled at the University of Nottingham in 2007 and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Product Design and Manufacture Engineering.
