Stephen Szymanski

Stephen Szymanski is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President for the Americas Region at STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited since September 2020, Stephen oversees governance, operations, and strategic direction, emphasizing profitability and market development. Previously, as Senior Vice President of the Telecom Division at Prysmian Group from March 2006 to August 2020, Stephen successfully led significant mergers and acquisitions, achieving substantial financial growth and overseeing a large workforce. Additional roles include advisory positions at EIS Inc. and the Fiber Optic Sensing Association, along with past employment at Sumitomo Electric Lightwave, Marconi PLC, and Anixter. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston and advanced management and law certificates from SDA Bocconi, Rutgers Business School, and the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law.
