Emily Shepherd

Emily Shepherd is a dedicated educator with experience as a 5th Grade Teacher at Stockbridge Community Schools since August 2022 and as a Student Teacher at Southfield Public Schools since August 2021. Emily's background includes positions as a server at Klavon's Pizzeria & Pub and One North Kitchen and Bar, as well as experience as a Camp Counselor for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Previous roles also include Child Caregiver at Delta Presbyterian Church and Independent Nanny through Care.com. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Michigan State University (2016-2021) and has gained valuable skills in child engagement, supervision, and activity planning throughout various roles. Additionally, Emily has interned in engineering at RSDC of Michigan and the Calhoun County Road Department, contributing to design work and data collection.
