Peter Sandberg

Peter Sandberg has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 as a Political Intern at the Embassy of Sweden in London. Peter then worked as a Press & Information Officer at the same embassy before transitioning to the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK as a Communications Manager. From there, Peter became the Director of Program & Events at The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. In 2013, they joined BVCA as the Director of Commercial Development & Membership. Peter also served on the boards of the Swedish Chambers International and the Council of Foreign Chambers of Commerce in the UK. Since 2018, they have been the Chief Executive of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK and a board member of Stockholms Handelskammare. In March 2023, they will take on the role of Chief Community & Growth Officer at Stockholms Handelskammare.

Peter Sandberg attended Lund University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics and Political Science. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2000, they attended Österportskolan in Ystad, completing their Upper Secondary education. In 1998, they also participated in a program called "Forum pour une Europe Multiculturelle" at the European Parliament in Luxembourg, focusing on Multicultural European Studies.
