Gregory Jackson has a diverse work experience in design and user experience roles. Gregory started their career as an Assistant Draftsman at BBP Building Services, where they created layouts and drawings for construction projects. Gregory then worked as a Graphic Designer at Liberty Ltd, producing creative design solutions for various projects.

In 2012, Gregory joined Pearson plc as a Managing Designer, focusing on children's reading programs Bug Club and Wordsmith. Gregory also worked as a UI Designer, specializing in digital platforms, and later as a UX Designer. At Pearson, they developed interactive eBooks and managed illustrators and freelance designers.

From 2015 to 2018, Gregory served as a UI and Visual Designer at Manufacture 2030, where they worked on user interface design projects. Currently, they are employed at Stockopedia as the Head of Design, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior UX/UI Designer at the same company.

Gregory Jackson has a diverse educational background in the fields of graphic design, visual communication, art and design, and various subjects. Gregory began their higher education at Watford Grammar School from 2006 to 2008, where they pursued A-Levels in Fine Art, Biology, Psychology, and Business Studies. Following this, they obtained a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Central Saint Martins, attending the institution from 2008 to 2009.

Continuing their education, Gregory attended London Metropolitan University from 2009 to 2012, where they focused on Graphic Design and studied fields such as print, illustration, and photography. During their academic journey, they also explored opportunities abroad, briefly attending San Francisco State University from 2010 to 2011 to deepen their knowledge in Design and Industry, with a particular emphasis on visual communication.

Additionally, Gregory has pursued further certifications to enhance their skillset. Gregory obtained a certification in UX Management: Strategy and Tactics from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) in July 2023. In January 2023, they also completed a certification in User Research - Methods and Best Practices, also from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF).
