Petr Huřťák

Petr Huřťák has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Petr started their career at Seznam.cz as a Backend Developer in 2015, where they worked on projects such as the politicians hint on search and Krasty, a content recommendation plugin. Petr later transitioned to a Frontend Developer role within the same company, working on Krasty and developing a styleguide library.

In 2018, Petr joined GoodData as a Frontend Developer before moving to LOLO.zone inc as a Senior Full Stack Developer in 2018. Petr then worked at nangu.TV, a.s as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of the Nangu platform and created native integrations for the Arris IPTV set-top box.

From 2019 to 2021, Petr was a Software Engineer at ALICE Technologies Inc., focusing on full-stack functional React/Node/Scala development. Petr was involved in tasks such as separating front-end from the web server app, rewriting from Angular to React, and introducing Storybook and UI styleguide.

Petr was also a Co-Founder of an unnamed project from 2020 to 2021, where they developed an automated betting bot for sport analysis predictions using TypeScript and PostgreSQL. However, the project was discontinued due to profitability issues.

More recently, Petr worked as a Senior React Native Team Leader at Kaltura from 2021 to 2022, leading a team in React Native development. Petr is currently employed as a Software Engineer at StockStory, starting in 2022.

Petr Huřťák obtained their Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Prague University of Economics and Business, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.
