Jon Roar Odden

Jon Roar Odden has a diverse work experience in various roles, primarily in project management and test management positions. In their current role as a Project Manager at Norges forskningsråd since 2021, they oversee project management activities. Jon Roar also serves as the CEO, Founder, and Project Manager at STOLT IT since 2017, where they deliver senior-level project managers, test managers, and IT architects and developers to IT projects in the Oslo region.

Jon Roar is a Board Member at Vignita.com since 2021, an online education community, where they facilitate communication between teachers and students and aids companies in managing organizational competence. From 2016 to 2023, they worked as a Project Manager and Test Manager at Statnett SF, assisting in test and project management for various IT projects.

Before that, Jon Roar Odden worked as a Project Manager and Test Manager at Odden Consulting from 2008 to 2017. Jon Roar was also a Technical Project Manager at Communicate Norge AS in 2016, leading a team of developers for integrations with REMA1000's accounting system.

Jon Roar served as a Test Manager at DNV GL from 2014 to 2015, responsible for systems integration testing and web portal testing. Prior to that, they were a Test Manager at Circle K Europe from 2012 to 2014, managing software QA and incident management for the PALs system.

Jon Roar Odden worked as the CTO at INSPIRIA science center from 2010 to 2012, overseeing infrastructure and technical aspects of exhibits. Jon Roar also served as a Test Manager at CGI in 2010, managing a team and handling test-related documentation for an e-health project.

Jon Roar Odden's education history is as follows:

From 1997 to 1999, they attended Borg Videregående skole and obtained a high school diploma. Their field of study included electronics, discrete electronics design, and communication technology.

Following that, from 1999 to 2000, they attended Andøy Videregående skole and earned another high school diploma. During this time, they studied space technology, astrophysics, mathematics, geographical information systems, and satellite technology.

Later, from 2000 to 2005, Jon Roar Odden attended Østfold University College (HiØ), where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, they have also earned several certifications. These include: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in December 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals from Microsoft in November 2020, Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in June 2019, PRINCE2 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2017, ISTQB Foundation Level from ISEB in November 2010, PADI Open Water Diver from PADI in February 2008, and Security+ from CompTIA in August 2007.
