Axel Ollivier

Axel Ollivier has diverse work experience in the field of software development. Starting with their most recent role, they are currently employed as a Technical Lead at Stonal, where they work as a FullStack Craftsman using Kotlin for the backend and Angular for the front end. Axel collaborates with a team of three other software engineers.

Prior to their current position, Axel worked for La Combe du Lion Vert as a Full Stack Engineer from 2020 to 2022. In this role, they utilized Java 11, Kotlin, and Angular 9 to create a website that handled customers' data and allowed them to manage it. Axel also participated in a four-week training course focused on improving their skills in Software Craftsmanship, including topics such as TDD, Solid Principles, and Clean Code.

Before La Combe du Lion Vert, Axel was a Software Developer for Crédit Agricole - Technology Services at Capgemini from 2018 to 2020. Axel worked on developing a web app that managed different customer accounts using Java and Angular 7.

In addition, Axel briefly served as a Tech Lead and junior architect for Yeobi, a French association that helps newcomers in France, where they were responsible for creating a mobile app and making technological and architectural decisions.

Furthermore, Axel gained valuable experience during their internship at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in 2017, where they conducted research on 3D reconstruction of muscle fiber structure using cryosections and tractography. The research paper they contributed to won the best paper award at the MICCAI 2017 conference.

Axel Ollivier has a diverse education history. Axel obtained a Master's degree in E-banking and cybersecurity from ENSICAEN - Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Lycée Malherbe Caen from 2013 to 2015, participating in preparatory classes focused on Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. Before that, from 2010 to 2013, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, majoring in Maths, Physics, and Biology at Lycée Malherbe Caen.

In terms of additional certifications, Axel earned a TOEIC 960 certification from Educational Testing Service (ETS) in May 2016, showcasing their proficiency in English.
