Henley Smith

Henley Smith has over 40 years of work experience, starting in 1978 as an Assistant Vice President at Bankers Trust Company. Henley then worked as a Vice President in Taxable Fixed Income at Manufacturers Hanover Trust from 1982 to 1987. From 1987 to 2006, they served as the Chief Investment Officer at Gabelli Fixed Income LLC. Henley later held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Castleton Partners LLC from 2007 to 2008, and at Commonwealth Asset Management LLC from 2009 to 2014. Henley then worked as a Fixed Income Product/Market Consultant at The Riderwood Group from 2008 to 2009. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Senior Director of Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Following that, Henley held the position of Senior Vice President/Senior Relationship Manager at Vanderbilt Ave. Asset Management from 2015 to 2017, and currently holds the same position at StoneCastle since September 2017.

Henley Smith attended Saint Lawrence University from 1974 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. In 2014, they obtained the Series 7, 63, and 65 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
