Katie Fretwell

Katie Fretwell is an experienced professional currently serving as the Diversity Champions Manager and Co-Chair of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Staff Network at Stonewall since November 2021. Previously, Katie held several roles including Deputy Editor at TROD, where involvement in creating and editing a protest journal occurred, and Content Creator for Rethinking Woman, focusing on gender and mental health topics. Additional roles include Advisor at Rethink Mental Illness, Project Assistant at the School of Sexuality Education, and Senior Content Editor for Sussex Writes. Katie gained hands-on experience as a Barista at Costa Coffee and completed a Commercial Law internship with Bright Network. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Gender, Society, and Representation from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Sussex.
