Tara Stone

Tara Stone is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within organizations focused on gender identity and support for marginalized communities. Currently serving as a Sexual Assault Referral Centre SPV Group Member and a Gender Identity Programmes Board Member at NHS England since November 2017, Tara also holds the position of Senior Memberships Programmes Manager for the Public Sector at Stonewall, and is a member of the Stonewall Trans Advisory Group. Previously, Tara was the Victim Support and Development Lead at Be Trans Support & Development North, after having served as Managing Director for the same organization. Additional experience includes chairing Tyne Trans from January 2011 to December 2016 and acting as Trans Engagement Director for Northern Pride Events Ltd from October 2014 to March 2016.
