Niels van Duinen

Niels van Duinen has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Niels is currently the SVP - Head of Business Development APAC at StoneX Group Inc. In this role, they are responsible for developing new clients and growing business in the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to this, Niels was the Branch Manager for StoneX Amsterdam, where they successfully opened and managed the office. Niels focused on growing customer relationships and developing new clients for the FX Payments product in the Netherlands.

Before joining StoneX, Niels worked as an FX Sales professional in the Global Payments division of INTL FC Stone. Niels was responsible for managing and growing existing customer relationships while also developing new clients for the FX Payments product in the Netherlands.

Outside of their financial roles, Niels was a member of the Activities committee at the Erasmus Student Network in Utrecht. Niels organized social events, trips, and other activities for international exchange students to help them integrate into Dutch society and university life.

Niels van Duinen holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Management from Universität Klagenfurt, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Niels also pursued a Master's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, during 2014. Additionally, they earned a Master's Degree in International Business from EM Normandie Business School in 2013. In terms of certifications, Niels van Duinen completed the BAFT Future Leaders Program offered by BAFT (The Bankers Association for Finance and Trade) in 2020.
