Kevin Gardner

Kevin Gardner is an accomplished academic and administrator currently serving as the Vice President for Research at Stony Brook University since May 2024. Prior to this role, Kevin held the position of Executive Vice President for Research and Innovation at the University of Louisville from January 2020 to May 2024. At the University of New Hampshire, from August 1999 to January 2020, Kevin served as Vice Provost for Research and Director of Strategic Initiatives, collaborating with the Senior Vice Provost to advance the university's research priorities. Additionally, Kevin has contributed to the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department as a Professor. Kevin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Union College.
