Najat Mustafa

Najat Mustafa is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Legal Intern at Gateley Legal and as a legal volunteer at StopWatch, focusing on fair policing in the United Kingdom. Najat also contributes to the MDX Mooting Society as an interviewer, providing valuable insights into the challenges faced by practicing lawyers. Previous experiences include participation in the HAK-MDX pro bono initiative at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, a legal internship at Alsuwaidi & Company, and prior internships that involved significant legal research and writing. Notable achievements include reaching the quarter-finals as an oralist in the 2022 DIFC DEC moot Competition and working on research projects, including a significant case for Al Jazeera. Najat is pursuing a Bachelor of Laws - LLB at Middlesex University, with an expected completion in April 2024.
