Steven Hylands

Steven Hylands has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Steven is currently the Co-founder and CPO of Stora since 2021. Prior to that, they founded NI Creative Community in 2019, a Slack community for the Northern Irish Creative Community. Steven also co-founded Lowdown in 2019, an automatic email digest for Slack members. Additionally, Steven worked as a Freelance Product Designer at Shylands since 2019, where they collaborated with startups on design, strategy, testing, and marketing. In 2019, they also founded ClimateChoice and AirCare, where the latter offered a service to understand and offset the carbon emissions of flights. Steven founded and served as the Creative Director at Rumble Labs from 2009 to 2015, specializing in app development, design, and strategy. Before that, they co-founded PiggyPot Ltd in 2015, a savings and money management app. Steven also co-founded Yomo in 2017, a savings, education, and investment app for individuals in the UK.

Steven Hylands attended Banbridge Academy from 1997 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a degree in Interactive Multimedia Design at Ulster University from 2004 to 2008.
