Niilo Härmä has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Niilo started their career as a Trainee in Management Consulting at Pöyry in 2008. Niilo then moved on to Sappi Europe, where they worked as an Inside Sales Representative from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Metsä Group and held various positions including Reporting Analyst, Sales Controller, and Corporate Controller, Finance Development. During their time at Metsä Group, they were involved in finance development projects and played a key role in driving profitable growth through sales analysis. In 2019, they joined Stora Enso as a Sales Director and later became the Director, Head of Unbleached Pulp Segment. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, NBSK (Acting) at Stora Enso. In this role, they are responsible for sales in Europe.
Niilo Härmä pursued their Master of Science (MSc) in Forest Economics and Marketing from the University of Helsinki, which they completed from 2005 to 2010. In 2008, they briefly attended the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), though the degree and field of study are not specified.
