Olaf Starken

Olaf Starken is an experienced professional in the packaging industry, currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Packaging Innovation at Stora Enso since June 2019, where additional roles include Vice President, Head of Packaging Connects and Vice President of Packaging Development & Design within the Packaging Materials Division. Starken also held the position of Managing Director at pacproject from November 2002 to May 2019 and served as Head of Innovation at Mayr-Melnhof Packaging from January 2013 to December 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Packaging Development Manager at MMP Behrens and Packaging Engineer at Lindt & Sprüngli Germany. Educational credentials comprise an International Executive Program from the Stockholm School of Economics, degrees in Packaging Engineering from TFH Berlin, and a packaging technologist apprenticeship from Leuchtturm Albenverlag.
