Thomas Bone has a diverse work experience. Thomas started their career at Novatech as a Sales Consultant from June 2006 to June 2009. Thomas then joined Xyratex as an IT Support Technician from July 2007 to September 2008, where they introduced a Windows Deployment Services server for efficient machine provisioning. In 2009, they moved to Xyratex as a Network and Security Engineer, responsible for daily operational and administrative tasks. Thomas also worked as a Network Integrations Engineer from August 2012 to August 2013, specializing in network design and management for the ClusterStor product line. From September 2013 to April 2014, Thomas served as an IT Network Engineer at Xyratex. Thomas later joined StorMagic in April 2014 as a Software Test Analyst, testing SvSAN virtual SAN software. At StorMagic Ltd, they served as a Test Automation Engineer from February 2016 to August 2020. Currently, Thomas holds the position of DevOps Engineer at StorMagic, starting in August 2020, and recently advancing to the role of DevOps Team Lead in August 2021.

Thomas Bone completed their BTEC National Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Strode College from 2002 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering and earned a BEng from the University of Portsmouth, which they attended from 2005 to 2009.
