Paul then transitioned to the education sector and served as a Physics Teacher at Ballyclare High School from 2005 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Queen's University Belfast as a Knowledge Transfer Associate, working until 2018. Following this, they worked at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust as an MRI Physicist from 2018 to 2023. In 2019, Paul obtained an Anatomy and Physiology Level 4 certification from Open Study College.
Furthermore, Paul's ongoing commitment to professional development led him to become a Registered Clinical Scientist, a certification they attained in September 2022 from The Health and Care Professions Council.
