Helge Rager Furuseth

Helge Rager Furuseth currently serves as the Head of Security and Preparedness Department at Stortinget since August 2024. Prior experience includes pivotal roles at Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet from March 2011 to August 2024, such as Deputy Director General and Acting Director General, as well as responsibilities overseeing the Norwegian Security Accreditation Authority. Furuseth also contributed as a Policy Officer with the European Commission, focused on the EU Satellite Navigation Programmes, and held a project management position at the Norwegian Ministry of Defence. Additional experience encompasses leadership roles in various security and IT functions within the Norwegian government and educational institutions. Educational qualifications include master's degrees in Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, and Public Management, alongside a Senior Executive Course from Forsvarets høgskole.
