Liz Cortes has a diverse work experience in various industries. Liz co-founded RebelFish Local Marketing Agency in 2015, where they served as a Local SEO expert, family-owned business coach, and facilitated local marketing for clients. In 2019, Liz worked as a StoryBrand Certified Guide and Sales Funnel Copywriter at StoryBrand, helping businesses improve their marketing message and drive action from their websites. From 2014-2014, they worked at Accelerate Marketing as an Executive Producer, Medical Marketing Strategist, and Sales Manager, focusing on utilizing YouTube videos and SEO to drive website traffic and generate leads. Liz also founded and managed Fitabolize, an online sales funnel creation service, where they helped clients achieve their fitness goals. Additionally, they have experience as a Sales Funnel Creation and Online Marketing Coach at Mia Davies, LLC, and as a Gymnastics Coach at Gymnastics is Fun/Gymnastics and More/Kandi's Kids. Currently, Liz works as a Local Business Coach at Business Made Simple University, assisting service-based business owners in implementing courses to attract local clients and grow their businesses.

Liz Cortes obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from The University of New Mexico, with a start year of 2006 and an end year of 2009. Liz also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Exercise Science from the same institution, with a start year of 2004 and an end year of 2008.

In addition to their degrees, Liz Cortes has obtained several certifications. In November 2017, they received the BASIC KEELBOAT certification from US Sailing. In February 2019, they became a StoryBrand Certified Guide through StoryBrand. Most recently, in October 2020, they obtained the BMS Certified Business Coach certification from Business Made Simple University.
