Rochelle Torres has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2022. Rochelle began their career as an Office Intern at The New Harmony Project in 2011. In 2012, they started their own freelance Marketing and Creative Services business, specializing in arts companies and nonprofits. As part of their services, they developed brand identities, created marketing assets, and provided web design, graphic design, photography, and videography services.

In 2010, Rochelle joined the University of Evansville and held various roles, including Assistant Marketing Director in the Department of Theater and Digital Media Manager in the Department of Theatre. In these positions, they oversaw the daily operations, managed digital and print materials, produced newsletters, maintained social media, and facilitated communications.

From 2012 to 2022, Rochelle worked at Playwrights Horizons, first as a Marketing Assistant, then as a Digital Media Manager, and later as the Assistant Director of Marketing. In these roles, they led operations and strategy of digital communications, developed email marketing and content, supervised planning for paid media and SEO, executed digital content creation, managed social media, digital advertising, photography, and video production.

Starting in 2020, Rochelle joined Signature Theatre Company as the Director of Marketing, Communications & Engagement, where they played a vital role in directing marketing initiatives, communications, and engagement strategies.

Most recently, they joined StoryCorps in 2022 as the Director of Marketing & Digital Engagement. In this position, they are responsible for overseeing marketing and digital engagement efforts, driving brand awareness and engagement.

Throughout their career, Rochelle has demonstrated a strong passion for the arts, utilizing their expertise in marketing, digital engagement, communications, and creative services to contribute to the success of organizations in the arts and nonprofit sectors.

Rochelle Torres earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre Management from the University of Evansville, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. In 2010, they also spent a semester studying British Studies at Harlaxton College.
