Nadia Sorensen

Nadia Sorensen is an experienced interior designer specializing in Scandinavian design styles. Nadia provides bespoke interior design solutions to clients across the Northern Beaches, NSW. In addition to their interior design work, they have experience as a consultant at Beasley Intercultural, where they deliver Cultural Capability Programs and provides analytics consulting. Nadia has also worked as a lead trainer at StoryIQ. Prior to that, they worked as a research fellow at the Institute for Economics & Peace, where they actively engaged with clients, conducted data analysis, and contributed to the Global Peace Index report. Nadia has also worked as a research consultant at UNESCO and as an analytics and research consultant at The Commonwealth. Nadia has experience in project management, data analysis, and market analysis. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at the University of Sydney and worked as a sessional academic teacher at Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University and Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole.

Nadia Sorensen's education history is as follows:

Nadia Sorensen completed a Master's Degree (Coursework and Dissertation) in International/Global Studies at the University of Sydney from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree (honours) in Social Sciences and International Communication in English from Aarhus University. In 2012, they attended Uddannelsescenter Holstebro (UCH), Kursuscenter, where they studied Administration - Techniques of Presentation and Personal Branding. Additionally, from 2009 to 2012, Nadia pursued a 3-Year Higher Commerce Examination Course in Business and Economics at Uddannelsescenter Holstebro (UCH). In 2007 to 2009, they attended The Danish Design and Crafts School, though no degree or field of study is specified for this period. It is also worth noting that Nadia plans to attend The Interior Design Institute in the future, as indicated by their enrollment starting in 2023.

In terms of additional certifications, Nadia has obtained various qualifications. In 2019, Nadia also completed the Mindful Leadership certification from the University of Sydney. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Strategies for dealing with students in distress and The Teaching Development Programme from the University of Sydney. Before that, in 2017, they completed the Cultural Competency certification from Amnesty International Australia and the Career Development Program for International Students from the University of Sydney. Lastly, in 2016, Nadia obtained the Foundations of Teaching for University Tutors certification from Aarhus University and the Project Management and Coordination certification from Akademikernes A-kasse.
