Marcus L. has a diverse work experience in software development and system architecture. Marcus started their career as a Software Development Consultant at Sweco Position in 2014, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they joined Prevas AB as a Software Development Consultant. From 2019 to 2020, Marcus worked as a System Developer/Architect at Region Värmland, focusing on system architecture and development for .NET driven microservices in Azure and Kubernetes. Currently, Marcus is employed at Storytel as a Software Developer. Marcus has held multiple roles at Storytel, including Software Developer - Payments from 2020 to 2022, where they were responsible for system architecture and software development for .NET driven microservices in GCP and Kubernetes. In their current role as a Software Developer - Monetization infrastructure at Storytel, Marcus is part of a small team responsible for the infrastructure of subscriptions and payments. Marcus is involved in architecture design, product understanding, evaluation, and programming using .NET, k8s, and GCP. Marcus is currently working on buy vs build strategies to optimize value production with lower costs and fewer resources.

Marcus L. completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Karlstad University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in "Exam 480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" from Microsoft in October 2015.
