Ben Zimmerman

Ben Zimmerman is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in aerospace engineering. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Systems & Technology Research since June 2016, Ben specializes in research and development across various projects, such as multiple target tracking and big data processing. Prior to this role, Ben worked at Iowa State University from August 2011 to May 2016, first as a Software Engineer and then as a Research Assistant, focusing on asteroid pulverization and related computational methods. Ben also gained experience as a Computational Aero Physicist during a brief tenure at the Air Force Research Laboratory. Ben holds a PhD, a Master's degree, and a Bachelor's of Science in Aerospace Engineering, all from Iowa State University.
