Kevin Lamb

Kevin Lamb is a Senior Scientist at STR, specializing in applied mathematics research related to defense contracting, particularly in RF signal processing, operations research, and optimal control since October 2022. Previously, Kevin served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory, contributing to neutron imaging research for inertial confinement fusion, including involvement in the landmark N210808 experiment. Kevin also held a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of the Pacific, teaching undergraduate courses. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis, a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Early career experience includes roles as a Graduate Student and Tutor, fostering educational development and support.
