Hugh Hempel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Hugh is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Strainz, a company founded in 2013. Prior to this, in 2011, they co-founded Solution Therapeutics. In 2007, they co-founded The Addi and Cassi Fund, where they served as a Director and Parent Advocate, aiming to find therapies for "Childhood Alzheimer's." In 2004, they worked as a Partner at Granite Crest, Inc. Before that, they were an Advisory Board Member at Sparkpr in 1999. In 2000, they co-founded and served as the COO of HopeLink.com. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Online Marketing at Netscape Communications from 1994 to 2000. Hugh also held the position of Manager, Engineering and Science Markets at Apple Inc. from 1988 to 1994. Prior to that, they were the Director of CDS 5000 at Computervision from 1982 to 1985. Hugh'scareer began as a Marketing Representative at IBM from 1980 to 1983.
From 1976 to 1980, Hugh Hempel attended the University of Vermont, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management.
