Danish Ansari

Danish Ansari is a Senior Associate Scientist at Strand Therapeutics since May 2023, focusing on molecular cloning, synthetic genetic constructs testing, and project execution in a collaborative research environment. Prior experience includes a role as Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler from August 2021 to April 2023, and as a Student Researcher at Calvin University from October 2017 to January 2022, where Danish developed Giardia with specific nuclear pore protein tags. Additional significant roles include management positions at Hekman Library and as a Student Manager, participation in interfaith dialogue as Co-Director of Calvin Interfaith Alliance, and internship experience with Plaster Creek Stewards. Danish earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology from UT Health in May 2023 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Calvin University in May 2021.
