Peter Tan has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and design. Peter started their career at Smith Blackburn Stauffer Architects in 1987, where they worked as an architectural designer until 1990. From 1991 to 1993, they worked at Lipman Davis Architects and Durrant as an architectural designer and design architect respectively. In 1993, they joined Strang, Inc. as the Executive Vice President/Chief Design Officer. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Architecture & Urban Planning from August to December 1993.
Peter Tan attended Cornell University from 1981 to 1987, where they obtained a B.Arch and M.Arch degree with a focus on Architecture and Urban Design. Peter has additional certifications as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional from the U.S. Green Building Council, a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and is a Registered Architect through the State Examining Board of Architects.
