James Tricker has extensive work experience in the field of data analysis and quantum computing research and development. James'smost recent role was as a Scientific App Developer at Strangeworks, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Accenture as a Quantum Computing R&D Senior Analyst from December 2020 to November 2022. Before joining Accenture, they worked as a Data Analyst at Accenture UK from May 2019 to November 2020. James also has experience as a Data Scientist at UK Research and Innovation, where they worked from July 2017 to September 2017.
James Tricker completed their A Level education from Bristol Grammar School between 2012 and 2014. During this time, they studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Computing. After that, they attended the University of Oxford from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Physics (MPhys) degree with a focus on Physics. In 2021, James pursued a short course on Quantum Computing Realities from MIT xPRO. Additionally, they acquired certifications including the title of Qiskit Advocate from IBM in September 2021 and an IBM Certified Associate Developer - Quantum Computation using Qiskit v0.2X in July 2021.
