Brian Boutwell

Brian Boutwell has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Brian currently serves as the Vice President of Sales at Strategic Benefit Resources, Inc. since May 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Regional Sales Director at Munich Re Stop Loss, Inc. from April 2015 to May 2018. Before that, they held various roles at Sun Life Financial, including Senior Stop Loss Specialist from April 2010 to April 2015, Senior Group Sales Representative from April 2004 to April 2010, and Group Sales Representative from June 2000 to April 2004.

Brian Boutwell earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Risk Management/Insurance from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Before that, they attended Effingham County High School from 1995 to 1996 and Walton High School from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Brian obtained certification as a Certified Self Funding Specialist from the Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA) in 2021.
