Byron Haas

Byron Haas has a diverse work experience. Byron is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Strategic Business Systems (SBS) since 2022. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2022, Byron worked at NextGen Federal Systems in various roles including Project Manager and Software Engineer. In the role of Software Engineer, they were responsible for creating, deploying, and Dockerizing cloud micro-services, updating existing back-end and front-end services, developing back-end services for REST endpoints, and utilizing services like Kubernetes, DCOS/Mesos+Marathon, Kafka, and Elasticsearch clusters. Before joining NextGen Federal Systems, Byron worked as a Software Engineer at Syntel from 2015 to 2017. Byron initially started their career as a Help Desk Intern at Walsh University IT Help Desk in 2014 and later worked as a Barista at Walsh University Cavalier Café from 2010 to 2011.

Byron Haas obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Walsh University from the year 2007 to 2014. Additionally, they received a SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2022.
