David Loomis

David Loomis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David started their career at Verizon as an Economist where they worked until 1996. From 1996 to 2023, they held various positions at Illinois State University, including Associate Professor of Economics, Professor of Economics, and Professor Emeritus of Economics. During their time at the university, they taught several courses, supervised graduate students, and served on departmental committees. In 2005, they became the Executive Director at the Institute for Regulatory Policy Studies, where they successfully grew the contributing membership and implemented workshops related to regulatory issues.
