Robert Duncan has a diverse work experience spanning over 40 years. Robert currently works as a Senior Business Consultant at Strategic Information Group since February 2021. Previously, they worked at Avery Dennison for 12 years as a Global Applications Consultant, where they implemented QAD EA2007, managed offshore support teams, and provided support and development on various applications. Prior to that, they were a Senior Consultant at QAD for 10 years, specializing in project management, business process review, and software implementation. Robert also delivered training and consulting in manufacturing and distribution. Before joining QAD, Robert worked at the UK Ministry of Defence for 7 years as a CAPP and NAWBUS Systems Manager, where they implemented and developed microvax servers and led MRP projects. Their career began as an apprentice and estimator at John Brown Engineering Ltd.

Robert Duncan attended Glasgow College of Technology from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Robert then pursued further education at The Open University from 1993 to 1997, earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Computing and Manufacturing with a specialization in Computer Science.
