Luis Lemus

Luis Lemus is an experienced safety management professional with a robust background in environmental health and safety (EH&S) across various industries. Currently serving as Safety Manager for Strategic Materials since July 2017, Lemus previously held key positions including Corporate Safety & Health Director at American Apparel, where significant injury reductions were achieved, and EH&S Manager roles at Aseptic Solutions USA, Bumble Bee Foods, Ventura Foods, and Bloomfield Bakers. Lemus has developed and implemented comprehensive safety management systems, conducted specialized training, and led cultural change initiatives to enhance workplace safety and compliance. Educated at the University of Baja California, Luis holds degrees in education, further solidifying a foundation for effective communication and training in safety practices.
