John Bowen

John Bowen has a diverse work experience, primarily in the military and training operations. John started their career as an Executive Officer at HMLA-169 in 2003 and worked there until 2005. John then served as the Commanding Officer at MAG-46 Detachment A from 2006 to 2008. Following that, they joined the USMC as the MAGTF Staff Training Program ACE Section Head, where they created and implemented exercises to train deploying Marine Command Elements. In 2010, they joined Strategic Operations as the Director of Training Operations, where they presumably continue to work.

John Bowen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington, where they attended from 1985 to 1989. In 2014, they furthered their education by enrolling at Syracuse University and completed a degree in Project Management in 2015. Additionally, John obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from PMI in February 2015.
