Kamran Akhtar

Kamran Akhtar has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Kamran started their career in 1999 at Packages Ltd. as an Information System Engineer. In 2002, they joined Strategic Systems International as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2005. During their time at Strategic Systems International, they also briefly worked at TRG - The Resource Group as a Senior Software Engineer. From 2005 to 2007, they held the role of Principal Software Engineer at Strategic Systems International. In 2008, Kamran Akhtar was promoted to the position of Principal Staff Engineer at Strategic Systems International, where they have been working to date.

Kamran Akhtar obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, completing their studies between 1993 and 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2000 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Kamran has obtained various certifications, including Leadership Advance Program (LeAP): Spark Within using Lumina Learning from SeidoHR in November 2022, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 from Microsoft in July 2007, Management Essentials for IT Professionals from the Punjab Information Technology Board in December 2006, and Materials Management from the Pakistan Institute of Management (Official) in September 2003.
