Usman Afzal

Usman Afzal has extensive experience in data analysis, database development, and project coordination. Usman currently works as a Principle Data Analyst at Strategic Systems International, where they are involved in a BI project utilizing SSAS, SSIS, Power BI, Snowflake, and SQL server. Prior to this role, Usman worked as an Associate Data Analyst at NETSOL Technologies Inc. and as a Principal Database Engineer at The ENTERTAINER. Usman also has experience as a Database Developer at Soloinsight Inc. and Raaziq International PVT LTD, where they worked on projects related to workforce management and security solutions. Additionally, Usman worked as an IT Specialist, IT Supervisor, and SQA Engineer at Enova and Wateen Telecom, where they were involved in various software development projects. Throughout their career, Usman has gained proficiency in SQL, BI tools, data warehousing, and software development methodologies.

Usman Afzal completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of the Punjab between the years 2007 and 2011. Before that, they attended Garrison degree college for boys lahore cantt from 2005 to 2007 to pursue a pre-graduate degree in science. In addition to their formal education, Usman Afzal obtained a certification in Communication Skills from Enova (formerly MAF Dalkia) in November 2015. Usman also completed a course in fundamentals of big data from Databricks, although the exact timeline for this certification is not provided.
