Josh Pruden

Asset Management Technologist at Strathcona County

Josh Pruden has a diverse work experience, starting as a Research Assistant at Northland International University from 2013 to 2015. Josh then worked as an HVAC Service Technician at Enviro Air Technologies, LTD from 2015 to 2019, focusing on customer service and managing complex projects. Following that, they worked as a Freelance Writer from 2019 to 2020, demonstrating excellent communication skills and attention to detail. In 2020, Josh joined Teledyne Micralyne, Inc. as a Sr. Process Technician, where they maintained records and acted as a night shift supervisor. Currently, Josh is employed at Strathcona County, where they began as a Facility Maintenance Operator II in 2021 and has since been promoted to Facility Maintenance Operator III and Facility Maintenance Lead Hand.

Josh Pruden has a diverse education history. Josh started their educational journey in 2013 when they attended Northland International University, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Theology/Theological Studies. Following this, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued further education at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), studying Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician, completing the 2nd Period.

In 2021, Josh returned to NAIT to enhance their knowledge and skills in Mechanical Engineering. Josh completed a Certificate program in this field in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Josh Pruden obtained a 4th Class Power Engineer certification from the Alberta Boilers Safety Association in April 2023.
