Liz Christie, CPA has a strong work experience highlighted by their current role as Manager, Financial Reporting at Strathcona Resources Ltd. starting from April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Deloitte Canada for nearly a decade, where they held various positions including Senior Manager, Manager, Assistant Manager, and Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant, Liz specialized in providing audit services to TSX and SEC registrants, as well as private clients in industries such as oil and gas, chemicals manufacturing, and public sector. Before joining Deloitte, they gained experience as a Staff Accountant at Conroy Ross Partners in 2011 and as a Co-Director of the University of Victoria Leadership Conference at the UVic Commerce Student Society from 2010 to 2011. Liz's work experience also includes a role as a Customer Service Representative at TD Bank Group from 2008 to 2011.

Liz Christie, CPA pursued their education starting in 2007 when they attended the University of Victoria and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree. In 2011, they briefly studied at NEOMA Business School in the field of Business/Commerce, General. Later, in 2014, Liz enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan to obtain their Master's Degree in Masters of Professional Accounting, which they completed in 2015. Subsequently, in February 2016, Liz obtained their CPA license from CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants Canada).
